Jogging for Jana will be participating in the 19th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for women for the second year in a row. Last year we were able to raise over $5000.00 for this great cause! It will be an unforgettable day! As we start under a sea of confetti, we will celebrate triumphs, remember those we've lost, share stories, and unite in making a difference in the fight against women's cancers.
I'm making this Run/Walk in memory of Jana Miller, who passed away Dec 9th 2010 from breast cancer. I met Jana Dec 15 2008, three months into our relationship, Jana was diagnosed with breast cancer. During this time we fell in love, grew together, and became best friends while battling this terrible decease. She was an inspiration to myself and to many throughout her battle with cancer. Her positive outlook, regardless of the diagnosis, never wavered. Jana always considered herself blessed due to her family and many friends, and was always willing to put the needs of others ahead of herself. The loss of Jana will never really heal, yet I'm hoping with your support, along with many others, will help find a cure for this decease. So women in the future have a better chance to fight cancer!
On Saturday, May 12th, I, with Jana's three daughters, Desirae, Lindsi and Lorin, along with number of other supporters that knew and loved Jana will be participating in the 19th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women. We think this will be a healthy, beautiful way to support each other while serving the purpose to help find a cure.
